We’re so excited to have Seemingly Overzealous in the neighborhood! The shop is so bright and inviting (complete with a colorful mural on the side of the building), you just can’t help but stop in - and you’ll be glad you did, because their flavors are out of this world (think classics like chocolate, vanilla, cookie dough, cookies and cream, coffee, etc. PLUS inventive takes on chai, toasted coconut & almonds, blood orange & ginger and so much more). So, you choose your flavors (all have cute, clever names), you’re digging into your waffle cone, then you remember…. this ice cream is gluten/dairy free?! It’s like they’ve cracked the code on allergen-friendly ice cream - it tastes just as good as (or, arguably, better) than what you’d get at another local ice cream shop, and it’s inclusive toward all types of dietary restrictions. Just incredible. Also the seasonality and inventiveness of their flavors is so unique and exciting - I’ve truly not seen anything like it before, and it makes me want to come back as much as possible to see what flavors they decide to rotate in next time. Seemingly Overzealous is a perfect fit for this area, and we’re so excited to see them thrive in their new location!

We had a short visit to NC (Concord/Charlotte area). Hubby did some research on places to eat. He found a dairy free ice cream shop, Seemingly Overzealous! I am lactose intolerant, so this was a GREAT BONUS! So much so, I had a double scoop. Plus, gluten-free for him so he could eat the little crisp that comes with a cup of ice cream. My hubby and son had their ice cream before I could snap a photo. My daughter in law had the earl gray and it tasted like drinking tea. single scoop- Grey blobbin double scoop- people first (coffee) & can't all be cookie (cookies & cream) bag of crisp to go

I became gluten/dairy/egg free over a year ago, so finding this incredible ice cream shop last month has changed my life! I also love shopping local/supporting small businesses when I can. I have been going once a week to stock up on their amazing ice cream and ice cream sandwhiches. I could not recommend this place more if you have dietary restrictions. It makes me so happy to finally be able to eat deserts without being worried about having a stomach ache. Thank you seemingly Overzealous! Can’t wait for the new location to open!

Ice cream= amazing! Truly delicious and I wouldn’t have known it was dairy and egg free (vegan) if I hadn’t been told. Last time I visited, I was with: one plant-based eater adult, one toddler, and one ice cream / gelato foodie adult. All of us LOVED Seemingly Overzealous!! I’m a particular fan of 8 Mile Radius, Why is it Spicy, Last Bite Rules, and Spontaneous Regeneration (which is also PINK!). Owners= kind, engaged with the community, and incredibly talented. Team= so, so, so friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. Location= great location and such fun decorations. The design and set up makes getting ice cream so much fun. Hard to beat the “fun quotient” expectation that comes with going to get ice cream, but this place does it with their design. This place is a true gem!

Clean and spacious shop with activities for kids. The butter pecan and lemon blueberry cheesecake ice cream were delicious. Will come back again!

Holy smokes, this ice cream is so good. The fact that it’s vegan is even more impressive! I got a pint of the legendary dunks to take home and it was terrific. Love all of the mix-ins and the overall flavor profile of this ice cream. Friendly employees and clean and welcoming facility. Well definitely be back!
